She held roles at Technicolor, Deluxe Media Management, Relativity Media, Relativity EuropaCorp Distribution, Aviron Pictures and more, contributing to the successful release of numerous titles including Act of Valor, Immortals, Beyond the Lights, Safe Haven, The Best of Me, Miss Sloane, Limitless, Free Birds, Nine Lives, Kidnap, The Strangers Prey at Night, A Private War and more.
In 2022, Shelly launched Zion Marketing Group (ZMG) to champion independent filmmakers and support studio-level campaigns with tailored in-theater strategies. ZMG specializes in crafting and executing theatrical marketing campaigns, building exhibitor relationships, creating promotional partnerships, overseeing campaign rollouts, and identifying opportunities for audience engagement and growth.
Shelly is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Liberal Studies. A California native, she is also a committed advocate for inclusion and mentorship. She has held roles with Variety - The Children's Charity Tent 25, current Board of Director and played a key role in the launch of Film Row LEAD (Leadership, Education, Advancement, Diversity) initiative.
